Dominique here. Other half of the DoDo. The fun half. Just kidding. Double the Do, Double the fun. I love creating, designing, fashion, sports, yoga, basically anything that embarks on your inner child. I believe in genuinely working with one another for true success. ( A bit hippy-ish but still true.) I want to work hard, and enjoy every moment of life and share my success, failures, and stories with you to hopefully encourage and help you start your own startup!

Dom (½ of the DoDo) 

Officially, my name is Darrel Marie, but most of my friends call me Dobie, a nickname given to me at the age of 2 because of a mispronunciation of my full name by my best friend. My sister and I complement each other perfectly. I’ve always loved studying and can be a bit of an extremist, but my sisters keep me balanced and we have the best time together doing absolutely nothing. I’ve finally found contentment with my life between school, career, dating, friends and health. I learn something new everyday about myself, but I’ve also figured out that life’s better when you stop overthinking and start living. I tend to be too kind and have a hard time saying no, but I’m working on it and I actually don’t think that’s always a bad quality. So if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to help!

Dobie (the older half of DoDo)

We are two twenty-something best friends that also just happen to be sisters. We were given the name DoDo by one of our other best friends when she followed the O.C. trend by taking the first two letters of our names and mashing them together. Throughout the years, we have grown and been through everything together. And now, we are embarking on our biggest journey yet by starting our own business. As young women, we felt lost in the beginning but we decided to grab each other’s hand and take the first step. Now we want to share our story and what we’ve learned with you. We know there are young women all around the world that have the same dream, whether it be to learn, live, or succeed (hopefully all three), we want to help you. So take our hands while we navigate our way through the fairly unknown world of the entrepreneur woman.
